Born on June 1, 1956, in Melukote to M.T. Srinivasa Narasimhachar and Sundaramma, Janaki completed her schooling in her hometown. She then earned her degree from BMS College in Bengaluru and later obtained her MA in Kannada from KSOU, Mysuru. Additionally, she passed the Hindi “Praveena” exam conducted by Dakshina Bharata Hindi Prachar Sabha.Janaki developed an early interest in Sri Vaishnava philosophy and actively participated in talks, poetry, singing, and various other activities. She learned about religious, social work, and literature from respected figures like Araiyar Srinivasa Iyengar, Sri Surendra Koujalagi, and Sowbhagyalakshmi.In 1978, Janaki founded the Andal Yuvati Mandali and served as its Secretary. She inspired others by teaching tailoring and knitting, and later by promoting cleanliness through the establishment of the Women’s Health Centre in Bogadi. Since 2005, she has been actively sharing her knowledge through spiritual talks. Vidu. Janaki has two sons, including Vinay, who continues his mother’s legacy.
